Dqae Qare Game Farm Ghanzi

Dqae Qare Game Reserve (4 wheel drive) is situated in the Kalahari Desert approximately 24 kilometres from Ghanzi and is a community based tourism project of the Bushmen (Ncoakhoe - meaning Red People) from D'Kar village. It consists of a guesthouse, bushman huts, a campsite, and a bushlodge which is situated 10km from the Guesthouse. The original farm house has been converted to offer comfortable accommodation consisting of four en-suite rooms (candle light only and three rooms with electricity when generator is on.)

Dqae Qare San Camping Ghanzi

Dqae Qare Game Reserve (4 wheel drive) is situated in the Kalahari Desert approximately 24 kilometres from Ghanzi and is a community based tourism project of the Bushmen (Ncoakhoe - meaning Red People) from D'Kar village. The campsite is situated a short distance from the Lodge under large Kalahari thorn trees. There are ten individual campsites with traditional San grass windbreak enclosures and including a circular fire pit with barbeque facilities.

Thakadu is near to Ghanzi Village on it’s own private game reserve in the land of the “Khoi San” or Bushmen. The camp is surrounded by ancient “motswiri” or leadwood trees. We have a number of lovely campsites situated in a Leadwood cove serviced by two ablution blocks. The campsites are all provided with 220V power points, portable water and a braai (barbecue) pit. Tautona Lodge Ghanzi

There are a total of 28 rooms, including a number of family rooms and a double storey Presidential Chalet with three bedrooms.
