There is no accommodation in Gumare itself, but there
are a few small camps situated north east of Gumare on the Guma Lagoon.
These acamps are between 40 & 60km from Gumare, off the main road
using a turning north of Etsha 13. A 4x4 is required to reach these camps
for the last 12 to 20 km.

just off the panhandle of the Okavango Delta and is ideally suited
to exploring the western side of the Delta. Accommodation comprises
8 en suite Meru tents in the lodge plus an adjacent campsite including

of the best freshwater sport fishing rivers in Southern Africa,

Delta Dawn Camp Gumare Okavango Panhandle |

Delta Dawn Campsite is a shaded
wonderland with lawns and well appointed campsites for self erected
tents or roof top tents. There is a bar, restaurant, viewing platforms
with built in boma and 5 bedded self cater units for those that
do not have their own tents or equipment. The self cater units are
erected on raised platforms with flood plain views and separate
ablution blocks with hot and cold running water and flush sanitation.
These units are fully serviced and all linen is provided except
