and Chobe National Park.

Botswana Okavango Delta |
The Okavango River Flows into Botswana from the north
and spreads into the top of the Kalahari Desert creating a
large watery oasis of lagoons, channels, waterways and islands
which attract vast numbers of wildlife and birdlife in what
is referred to as the Okavango Delta, a magical emblem of
Africa

Chobe National Park Botswana |
Chobe National Park covers over 11,000 Sq Km and is home
to Botswanas most varied wildlife. The river to the north
supports the greater numbers of wildlife but the marshy areas
to the south Chobe provide beautiful habitat for wildlife
and many water birds. Northern area is accessable by 2WD but
further into Chobe a 4WD is required. |

Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park |
Crossing the border into South Africa the Kgalagadi Park
is one of the worlds largest and most prestine wilderness
areas. Although semi desert it supports a large variety of
wildlife and birds. Among the predators you can see are the
dark mained Kalahari lions, cheetahs, leopards, wild dogs,
hyenas, jackals and bat eared foxes. |

This amazing area is dominated by the Boteti River route,
althiugh the river only runs after good rains, animals congregate
among the rivers shallow pools which are the only permanant
water in the park. |
